ICHC Overview
ASIA-ICHC delivers comprehensive, culturally and linguistically appropriate healthcare on a sliding scale to all community members, especially those who face economic or language barriers to care.
We accept Medicaid and Medicare, and Sliding Fee Discounts for essential services are offered based on family size and income (we collect a nominal fee based on family size and income). The ICHC welcomes donations to help us continue to provide low income and under-served community members with critical medical services and information.
This health center is a Health Center Program grantee under Section 330, 42 U.S.C. Affordable Care Act, and a Public Health Service employee under 42 U.S.C., deemed a FTCA facility. View Nondiscrimination Policy.

Acupuncture is now available at the Cleveland ICHC in Asia Plaza. Please call to schedule an appointment.
Nicole Rodney, PhD, MPH, LAc is an acupuncturist, research, and facility member a the Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine. Dr. Rodney offers acupuncture at the International Community Health Center.

Health Insurance Marketplace
Medicaid & Medicare Enrollment Assistance
ASIA provides on-site, bilingual assistance to individuals and families to enroll into Qualified Insurance Plans in the Marketplace.
This service is funded by Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS), the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and in partnership with the Ohio Association of Food Banks.
The service is offered in Akron, Cleveland, Columbus, and Toledo. For information and assistance with services in these areas, please contact Susan Wong, susan.wong@asiaohio.org or call 330-535-3253. Services are available at no cost.

Breast & Cervical Cancer Screening
CLEVELAND - ASIA PLAZA
This screening partnership is focused on removing language and cultural barriers to programs and services available in the region.
The project works with bilingual Community Health Outreach Workers (CHOWs) who will outreach to low-income women for screening and treatment.
The program is a partnership with the Cuyahoga County Board of Health, Tiffany Breast Health and is partially funded by the Mt. Sinai Health Care Foundation.

PREVENTION & SCREENING
This prevention and screening project is focused on removing language and cultural barriers to existing programs and services available in the broader community.
The project uses bilingual community health outreach workers (CHOWs) who will assist inner-city, low-income families with young children for screening and treatment. The program is a partnership with the Cuyahoga County Board of Health and Environmental Health Watch. The project is partially funded by the Mt. Sinai Health Care Foundation. Diabetes
Prevention, Education & Screening
ICHC is dedicated to diabetes prevention information, education, outreach and support within the AAPI community.
The goals of ASIA's efforts in battling diabetes in the community are:
- To prevent the onset of Type 2 diabetes among at high-risk Asian American ethnic groups and the broader Asian American community
- To support active living, healthy eating, and greater diabetes knowledge among those with Type 2 diabetes
- To increase the cultural competency of providers so they can better take care of their AAPI patients.

Health Fairs
and Screenings
ASIA organizes health fairs in the community throughout the year.
These fairs provide the local Asian American and other ethnic communities with education on heath issues and free medical screenings. Over the last few years, the program has been strengthened by a partnership with the Asian Pacific American Medical Students Association (APAMSA) chapters at NEOMED and Case Western University School of Medicine. The students association assist with the valuable screenings involved with the events.

Hepatitis B
PREVENTION, EDUCATION & SCREENING
Partially funded by Hep B United, our prevention, education and screening efforts use bilingual health workers to screen individuals in the community and to link them to care.

HIV/AIDS
PREVENTION & EDUCATION
Free, confidential testing is available through the International Community Health Center's HIV/AIDS prevention project.
The project works in cooperation with the Ohio Department of Health. Call to coordinate.
Quit Smoking
Help Line
The service offers telephone counseling and support to help individuals and their families. This is a free service provided by the state.
The Ohio Quit Line is available in a number of different Asian languages, including:
