Asian American & global business owners meet with Congressman Steven LaTourette
Eleven members of Northeast Ohio’s Asian American and internationally-focused small business community gathered on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 for a breakfast forum with U.S. Representative Steven LaTourette (R-OH14) at Hattie’s Café and Gifts in Hudson.
Co-sponsored by ASIA and Country Pure Foods, the forum focused on attracting foreign talent and investment to the region and trade policy with Asia. During a question-and-answer session facilitated by Mr. Raymond Lee, President & CEO of Country Pure Foods, Congressman LaTourette also spoke on his work to jointly tackle issues of unemployment and hiring risks for small start-up companies.
“We always enjoy a chance to meet with local business owners and professionals,” said Jordan Warfield, District Outreach Representative for Congressman LaTourette. “We look forward to following up with them and continuing our relationship.”
